The Hollywood star Kelsey Grammer is defying liberal Hollywood by refusing to “apologize” for his strong Christian faith.
The Hollywood star Kelsey Grammer of “Frasier” fame is defiantly saying that he “won’t apologize” for his Christian faith, saying that his relationship with Jesus Christ has helped him through the “tragic times” of his life.
“I’ve had hiccups.
I’ve had some tragic times.
I have wrestled with those and worked my way through them,” Grammer, 68, told USA Today.
“Sometimes rejecting faith, sometimes rejecting God even, in a period of being pretty angry about it,” he continued. “Like, ‘Where were you?’ That kind of thing.
But I have come to terms with it and have found great peace in my faith and in Jesus. It’s not cavalier – Jesus made a difference in my life. That’s not anything I’ll apologize for.”

Daily Mail reported that Grammer is currently promoting his new movie Jesus Revolution, a faith-based comedy-drama in which he plays pastor Chuck Smith, who helped to spread Christianity throughout the United States in the 1960s and 1970s.
“It’s really uplifting. It’s a good movie,” he said of the film. “My wife and I saw it together. She was just dissolved in tears and said, ‘It’s the best thing you’ve ever done.’”
“What unfolds is a counterculture movement that becomes the greatest spiritual awakening in American history.”
Jesus Revolution was a massive hit in its opening weekend, raking in an incredible $15 million after analysts predicted that it would only make $6 to $7 million.
This just goes to show that despite what much of Hollywood thinks, audiences actually want to see faith-based movies now more than ever.

Grammer Is ‘Kind Of A Bible Guy’
Grammer previously opened up about how easy it was for him to play Pastor Smith.
“It strikes me, you know, I probably have been preparing for [this role] all my life, honestly,” Grammer told Fox News.
“It was a pretty seamless transition into playing Chuck.”
“I’m kind of a Bible guy,” he added. “I’ve been reading the Bible all my life. I turn to it for prayer, for reflection, for information, and I just always have.
It’s just always been sort of at my fingertips throughout my life, ever since I was a boy. So I have a relationship with the Word of God, as they call it, that it was probably akin to what Chuck Smith’s relationship was with it.”
In a 2021 interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Grammer opened up about how he’s maintained his Christian faith even in the dark times of his life.
“Just because you express doubt doesn’t mean faith is gone,” he explained.
“It’s worth expressing your doubt.
God – or whatever you want to call It, Him or Her – will usually find a way to thank you for expressing your doubts. ‘Be not afraid’ – it’s a common phrase in the Bible, and it’s an extraordinary thing.”
It’s rare to find an actor in Hollywood who is as open about their strong Christian faith as Grammer is. We applaud him for using the platform that he has as a Hollywood icon to spread the word of God!
