Colombian transgender model Dana Sultana, who was born male and identifies as female, shared a photo on social media with her husband Esteban Landpau, who was born female and is eight months pregnant.

“Love is love”, Dana started her story on Instagram, where she is followed by 219 thousand people.

They conceived the baby naturally because they both retained the scars they were born with, local media reports.

Esteban recently thought he was in labor and would give birth sooner than planned, but at the hospital he was assured that his symptoms were completely normal.

They have also announced that they are expecting a son, whom they will name Ariel.

“This is amazing, you are giving hope to thousands of trans people,” wrote one of their many fans.
